The goal of this project was to document the Working Field Trip taken by the Civil Engineering Technologies Students to Custer State Park to do Land Surveying. This Working Field Trip was funded by The South Dakota Society of Professional Land Surveyors and the video was made to show the benefit of this experience for the students.

The trip took place on October 7-11, but due to weather the whole project was filmed during October 7-9. During this time frame Chase Melorama and myself was tasked with filming and interviewing the students on the field trip. After each day, we would meet with Rod Breitling and Beth Kassing to go over the footage and plan the next day's desired footage.

After the trip, I began work on the project. I met with Rod Breitling and Beth Kassing weekly to present the current stage of the project and get feedback on how to improve the video more to their desired outcome.

This project was a massively beneficial learning experience for myself. Obtaining experience with on-location filming, working with weather conditions to obtain needed footage, working with multiple cameras along with external microphones, working with clients to create a product that they want, and working with Color Correction and Audio.
